Choose a globe that fits over the porch light and you can greet trick-or-treaters in an orange glow.TIME: 20 minutes, not including drying time
3. Fill pot with sand, packing it tightly (the pot will be heavy so consider doing this where the tree will be located).4. Stick the tree in the pot, packing sand around the trunk. Cover the top of the sand with black rocks.5. Decorate the branches with orange lights.6. 2. Flatten the bag and fold it in half, as shown. Starting at the fold, cut slits lengthwise through all layers of the bag. Be sure to stop cutting about an inch from the end opposite the fold.3. Carefully open the bag and set upright. Stuff gently with loosely crumpled tissue paper.4. Twist the top of the bag closed and paint the twist green to make a stem. Set aside to dry.5. Use curled pipe cleaners to attach leaves cut from green construction paper to top of bag.For spooky seasonal displays, hang the lanterns from the ceiling around your classroom.

Spray-paint the outside of the globe and set aside to dry (about an hour).2. Draw a simple design--a jack-o''-lantern, black cat, or bat-on cardboard and cut out. Trace shape on contact paper and cut out design.
